Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Station Chief Inspector. Overall, this position will be responsible for managing, training and directing work in the Quality Control (QC) Department. This position will work closely with our maintenance department to ensure compliance with federal regulations and company procedures and policies.

Quality Assurance Duties and Responsibilities:
• Audit, continually evaluate, revise, and develop training programs to support company missions
• Ensure accurate maintenance training records are properly and securely maintained for the station technicians
• Manage and maintain records for periodic and scheduled checks of all inspection tools and the calibration of precision test equipment used by air carrier
• Perform Quality Assurance internal and external audits
• Ensure that all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Airworthiness Directives (AD’s), and other inspection requirements per manufacturer guidelines are complied with and documented for all company aircraft
• Supervise technicians on matters relating to quality assurance and RII Inspections
• Proactively and in collaboration with peers, recommend changes in company process, industry standards, and specific skill areas as directed by the Chief Inspector, General Manager, and Director of Maintenance
• Perform aircraft inductions and 135 conformity inspections on both new and used aircraft
• Attend Quality Assurance departmental meetings

Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in and serve as point of contact in FAA Facility Audits
• Maintain 145 roster requirements to current status of the facility in white include: reassignment and new hires and terminations
• Assist station staff with regulatory, technical issues, and other work related tasks as needed
• Coordinate and plan necessary training needs for the station to include; remedial, recurrent, and indoctrination as required
• Daily visual inspection of the tool inventory, walk around the maintenance facility and inventory the Hazmat lockers (or delegates)
• Review status books and work packages
• Communicate Memo’s, emails, QAB’s, Manual Revisions (AMM, GMM, GOM, and SOP’s), Maintenance Alerts and Advisories, regulatory changes, Communiques, FCD’s and read and signs
• Perform Station General Manager roles and responsibilities when necessary

• Bachelors degree in related field preferred; 5-7 years experience and/or training in aviation with exposure to the Company Specific fleet types and Part 121 and/or Part 135 Operations; 3-5 years in a supervisory and/or quality environment; combination of education and experience.
• Must have a FAA Airframe & Powerplant License,
• Inspection Authorization Certificate preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex, and fast paced environment.
Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
• Possess excellent organizational skills, and both written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office and Windows.
