Position Overview
Flexjet, the second-largest private aviation company, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the operations team as an Aircrew Training Coordinator. The Aircrew Training Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and communication of aircrew training. This role requires working closely with pilots, as well as all departments in the OCC. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling aircrew initial and recurrent training events with the training provider.
  • Overseeing the training slot reservations, identifying forecast training needs and assignment of current slots for the scheduled training events.
  • Coordinates incentive days, crewmember scheduling shifts and training assignments with the Crew Scheduler.
  • Ensures the training spreadsheet is kept up-to-date for logistics and billing needs.
  • Reconciles training invoices to training events and approves invoices for accounts payable.
  • Assists with crewmember training assignments and placement of training events during the aircrew scheduling bid process and Optimizer output data.
  • Communicates crewmember training activities to the crewmembers, training provider and Manager of Training.
  • Delivers monthly documentation to the training provider, FAA when requested, crewmembers and ground instructors to ensure all facets of the training events are scheduled and documented.
  • Assists with scheduling PIC 6 month checks and line checks with the Fleet Chief Pilots.
  • Schedules and communicates training needs, events and logistics for the operating partners
  • Oversees the Company Learning Management System as it pertains to crewmember assignments, fleet transitions and profiles.
  • Assists the Aircrew Records Specialist with filing and organizing records when directed by the ADO.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Part 135 aviation knowledge and experience is a plus

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with core job competencies including, but not limited to, FARs, SOPs, and other resource documents.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be results oriented and able to obtain a high level of familiarity quickly
  • Strong personal and work ethics along with a high level of integrity
  • Must have the ability to work quickly, calmly, and under pressure.
